Weather

From Storm Team 5…

LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON. WINTER STORM WATCH LATER SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. SHOWERS AND STORMS ALONG WITH SLEET AND HAIL WILL CHANGE OVER TO WET SNOW  THROUGH THE AFTERNOON ON SATURDAY.  WE COULD BE SEEING SOME FLOODING ALONG THE BAY AND LAKESHORE DUE TO THE VERY STRONG NORTHEASTERLY WINDS. WET SNOW COULD ACCUMULATE TO 6-13″ BY  LATE SUNDAY.

HIGHS WILL STAY IN THE LOW TO MID 30S ON SATURDAY AND ONLY AROUND 30 ON SUNDAY. THAT WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RAIN..FREEZING RAIN…SLEET…AND WET SNOW. THE MIX WILL EVENTUALLY TURN TO ALL SNOW LATER SATURDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF WET SNOW IS LIKELY AT MANY LOCATIONS ALTHOUGH THE AMOUNTS WILL VARY GREATLY DEPENDING UPON THE TRANSITION TO THE WET SNOW AND FLUCTUATION IN TEMPS THROUGH THAT PERIOD. THE VERY INTENSE WINDS COULD ALSO CAUSE TRAVEL PROBLEMS IN ADDITION TO SOME FLOODING ALONG THE BAY OF GREEN BAY AND THE LAKESHORE.
